"We seek to provide a beautiful one of a kind Angel Gown to every baby that needs one.

What a special way to honour their precious lives and to provide love and compassion for their parents, who's arms and lives are left empty by their loss."

Meet Paola!

"Volunteering has always been a significant part of who I am"

After 35 rewarding years in customer service, management, and regional training, I stepped into retirement almost ten years ago. This new chapter has granted me the time to pursue my passions and give back to my community.

Volunteering has always been a significant part of who I am, starting from my teenage years as a candy striper at Hamilton General Hospital to my current role with Railway City Angel Gowns in St. Thomas. This initiative holds profound meaning for me, as my husband and I endured the heartbreaking loss of our grandson during pregnancy.  I dedicate myself to supporting families during their most difficult moments, offering them comfort and compassion.

Meet Kris!

Kris Novosel, a Retired Registered Nurse, co-founder Railway City Angel Gowns

Inspired by Barb Gillett Saunders' article "Angel Gowns for Child Loss,” published in St Thomas happenings.

Kris also has a background in organizing raffles and fundraising events during her nursing career. She found inspiration in creating angel gowns, viewing it as a therapeutic means to contribute positively to the local community and its growth continues, thanks to the volunteers' love, devotion, skill, and creativity
