I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, donors, and the community for their incredible support. A special thank you to Joe for putting on such a great performance, and to our amazing volunteers — without you, this first year would not have been possible.

Because of all of you, our first annual fundraiser raised over $5,500! An amazing accomplishment for our very first year. Together, we can look to the future and ensure that we continue helping as many families as possible throughout Ontario. I’m already looking forward to working with you again at our 2nd annual fundraiser.

I also want to share where the money raised goes, so you know the difference you are making:

• Cleaning of the garments that are donated (I clean them at home)

• Notions: thread, trims, buttons needed to make gowns

• Yarn when donations run low

• Packaging of each gown and keepsake

• Shirts for older boys  (we sew the pants and vests) and shoes for the older children depending on a family’s situation)

• Delivery costs when fulfilling urgent requests across Ontario

• Storage unit to house all our fabrics and supplies

• General operational expenses to keep everything running

And please remember — none of us take a salary. Every single dollar raised goes directly toward helping families through Angel Gowns.
